Privacy Policy

What we collect
Your name, date of birth, primary and secondary crafts, base city and any other cities you work in, Instagram handle, portfolio link, optional bio, images, and your phone number and day rate if you enter them, plus the Open Calls, applications and invitations you create. Your date of birth is used to check that you are 18 and is never shown to anyone.
What is visible to whom
Validated members see your name, crafts, cities, bio, tags, portfolio images, Instagram handle and portfolio link. Your email is never shown. Your phone number, and your day rate unless you make it public, stay hidden until you and another member accept each other on a shoot.
Location
The Radar uses your position only if you allow it. It is rounded to about a kilometre on your device before it is sent, so it can never point at an address. You can turn it off, and a trip you declare has an end date after which it stops being used.
Automatic checks
When you submit your application we fetch your portfolio page to see whether it links to the Instagram you gave and whether your name appears on it, and we compare a fingerprint of your uploaded images against those already on the platform. This exists to catch someone presenting another person’s work as their own. It never decides anything on its own; a person does.
Where your data lives
On our own PostgreSQL database and server, hosted in France (AWS eu-west-3). Images are stored on that same server. Transactional email is sent through SendGrid. City search is proxied through OpenStreetMap Nominatim, which receives the text you type and nothing that identifies you. Sign in with Apple and Google verify your identity token and return only your identifier and email. We do not sell your data, and there is no advertising tracker in the product.
How long we keep it
Your profile and content stay until you delete your account. Moderation records and the back-office log are kept longer, because a decision you cannot re-read is a decision you cannot defend. Access requests left on the site are kept until we invite you or you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can edit your profile, revoke a contact unlock, and delete your account and its content from Settings. Under the GDPR you can also ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, and complain to the CNIL. Write to privacy@callsheet.now.
